The Kingfish Company
Kingfish is a fast-growing company in the Netherlands that specializes in the sustainable production of Yellowtail Kingfish, a high-quality fish that is popular in the culinary world. The company is known for its commitment to environmentally friendly aquaculture and for using innovative techniques to minimize environmental impact.
In 2022, Kingfish opted to further expand their installations. Given the chloride-rich environment in which the company operates, it was crucial for Kingfish to permanently protect their concrete structures against deterioration. That's why they chose to work with Penetron products, which are known for their effective protection of concrete in aggressive environments.
Products used
When expanding the installations, various Penetron products were used to ensure optimal protection of the concrete structures. For the new construction phase, Penetron Admix was added directly to the fresh concrete, providing durable and permanent protection against chloride-rich conditions. Thanks to the choice of Penetron, Kingfish does not have to worry about future concrete damage, which protects their installations for the long term. The close cooperation between Kingfish and Penetron Benelux contributed to the successful development of this expansion project.
